After the Holidays, I need to reset and refocus. With all of the delicious goodies and amazing holiday meals, it is time to get back into some good habits. There are no more excuses! In this post I am going to talk about getting healthy by drinking water.
It is not a secret that water is totally good for you. You should consume enough water for your personal body type, daily. The health benefits to drinking water are phenomenal. We all know that water helps with food digestion and your metabolism. Water hydrates you which will keep your skin looking young and vibrant. There are so many health benefits, you can check them out right HERE! Personally, I try to get about 4 litters of water a day but It’s hard! If only water tasted like coffee, ha, ha! Water can become so boring sometimes so the best way around that is to infuse your water!
Infused water or “Detox water” cost close to nothing plus it is so refreshing. There are so many different recipes for detox water. I like grabbing ideas off Pinterest. The water combo that I am featuring is supposedly fat burning, but I have no evidence of that. I am using Lemon, Lime and Cucumber with ice. It is so yummy! Also, this is one of my favorite combinations. I have a weird obsession with lemons. When I was younger, I used to peel them and eat them, ha, ha! Hopefully I am not the only weird one. As I got older, I began putting lemons into my water to give it some flavor. I am almost convinced that lemons are responsible for my fast metabolism.

The Past Week
Last week was a busy one for me. I was learning some high-speed military stuff down at Ft Polk, LA. This week consist of another snow day and I began another military class for my Battalion. I am super busy as always!
