Happy Belated St. Patricks Day, Friends!!
It is the weekend, and I am late on this blog post because I have been so busy with work. This is my first week of teaching in person at the Academy. It is different, but I will be used to it. I am enjoying it! However, I was supposed to release this blog post on Thursday. Today, we are looking at ways to style green for spring.
Styling Green for St. Patricks
I am doing a collaboration on styling green for spring with my blogger friend Ada. Go check out her blog post here: (Elegance and Mommy Hood), Green Dresses For Saint Patricks Day! Ada looks so cute in her green gingham dress; it is such a cute pattern and perfect for spring. The puff sleeves are my favorite part of her dress. Ada’s dress is from Target purchased last year, and she wore it throughout her pregnancy. We both styled our dresses with a straw back and flat sandals.
Wearing Green for Spring
When you think of green, you associate it with Saint Patrick’s Day; however, green is trendy this year. You can wear the color green in different ways for spring. I have always loved the color green when it comes to fashion.
Two Ways to Wear Green
As you can see, I have styled the spring green dress in two different ways. The first option is a dressier approach with nude heels and my Gucci Bag, perfect for Church, Work, or any spring event. The other option is a more casual spring look. I wore my spring straw bag and my favorite Tory Burch Miller Sandals. I can see this look worn to spring events, parties, Easter, and nice weekend outings. My dress is from Loft (spring 2018), I linked similar dresses. Loft has a cute green dress this year in their spring line.
Which look is your favorite?
Life Lately
In my podcast “Pass the Prosecco,” I talk about how I will be busy with work. It will be busy for me in the next few months because I am in the learning stages of this job. My posting as a blogger will have to take a hit. I decided to post every other week by alternating with my Podcast.
If you haven’t heard it yet, check it out right here!! My Instagram posting will suffer as well. It already did this week. After I get a handle on my new job at the Academy, I will be able to come up with a good posting system. It might take a couple of months. I am in the shoot for a promotion, and I am 3rd in line. I still don’t know if I will get it this year, the suspense!!!
Wish me luck!!
Cheers!
