Hello friends!
I am trying something new with Ada this week.
I am sharing a throwback Thursday for the Thursday MODA. Head over to Ada Blog post on Elegance and Mommy Hood and see her Throwback Thursday Post?
I chose this outfit from Valentine’s past because I am wearing a red top and it supports the Women’s Heart Health Awareness Month for February.
Throwback Thursday Outfit
The date I posed this Blog Post was January 21, 2017. As you can see, I was already pushing Valentine’s Day content, as tradition. I was wearing a cute red collar, knit top, and a black tulle skirt. Such a beautiful combo. Then I decided to pair my outfit with a leopard fold clutch, adding some patterned accessories that made my outfit fun. The Mary Jane heels were thrifted in South Korea.
The Throwback Blog Post
Go check out this blog post “Tulle Skirts for Valentines Day + How to Blog About Fashion,” I wrote it in 2017, while we were living in our loft in South Korea. I took the picture on our rooftop patio. This blog post is part of my series “Fashion Blogging for Beginners: The Mistakes I Made Starting My Fashion Blog.” I talk about my struggles with trying to monetize my blog from Korea. Although finding similar items is a good practice, doing it too much doesn’t make you a reliable source to go to for outfit ideas. Shoppers look for outfit ideas and usually want the exact item you are presenting.
I wrote this blog post weeks before I was accepted into the RewardStyle program. Before I was accepted, I used another platform called ShopStyle Collective. It’s been a long time but the platform offered shoppable links. You can earn a commission when people click and purchase but you won’t receive anything unless you make $100 or more in a month. I am honestly not familiar with this route to monetize your blog. It has been a long time since I last used it, but it is fun to reminisce.
Women Heart Health Month
I talk about this national day observation in this blog post right here, (National Wear Red Day). Check it out! I like its cause bringing awareness to heart disease and stroke in millions of women all over the nation. If you also suffer from tremors, then you might also want to look into tremors cannabis treatments here.
I love how similar we are with the fancy outfits, clutch, and heels. Both pictures were shot in the snow. Ada told me her dress is Calvin Kline, it is so cute.
Be sure to read her blog post this week for the Thursday MODA and get more details about her outfit and throwback post.
Thank you for dropping in.
Cheers!

Great post and fabulous throwback outfit, Brandi! This is one of my favorite color combinations. Your tulle skirt is so much fun and I love that leopard clutch, but I really am dying over those gorgeous thrifted shoes! They caught my eye immediately and then won my heart when I learned they were preloved!
