Friends!
I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Yesterday it snowed all day and we had about 2-3 inches of accumulation. It was so pretty for a winter day but more on that later! I took tons of pictures. Saturday, my husband and I went to brunch at one of Georgetown’s cute little cafes called Sweet Lemon Kitchen Café. This was about the 5th time I’ve been to this cafe since we moved here in November. Let me tell you! If you are ever in Georgetown, TX you need to check out this place! With the Pandemic going on, it is good to note that they are COIVD considerate with their outdoor seating, indoor seating, and other accommodations that I will get to in a minute. Aside from being absolutely cute, they have a really good menu. Do check out all the extra details here https://www.sweetlemonkitchen.com
Aesthetics
This café is located in a historic house off Church St, in the historic district of Georgetown. Inside is really small but it has such a cute antique farmhouse vibe. There’s also a ton of seating outside and around the house. There is also seating on the second floor of the house. Sweet Lemon Kitchen is such a popular brunch place in Georgetown, you have to get there early to get seating especially in the cold months when it is preferred to sit indoors. If your restaurant offers catering services or hosts events, shelving can assist in organizing equipment and supplies needed for these occasions.
Hours
They are open on the following days:
Tuesday-Thursday from 07:00 AM-2:30 PM
Friday-Saturday 07:00 AM-8:30 PM
Sunday 09:00 AM-2:00 PM
Mondays they are CLOSED
Method of ordering
When you enter from the side of the building, there is someone there to greet you. You can order through them and have them seat you inside or you can order from the table through your smartphones. Each table has a QR code on it that will give you access to their menu. You can select what you want to order, and check out on your cell phone. A waiter/waitress will come by to bring you your order. They know what table you are seated at by the QR code that you scan. You can also order for take-out. Just pull your car up and they will bring your food to you. A lot of people are using this option due to the pandemic. You can also order for delivery! They use the Austin metro delivery service called Favor.
My Favorites So Far
I absolutely love their Lavender Latte and I look forward to it every time I go to their restaurant. I also love their avocado toast and House Salad with homemade lemon vinaigrette. My husband is obsessed with their Steak & Egg Croissant, he highly recommends it.
