Today, I will talk about the color wine berry because it is trending for fall. First, let me apologize for Missing in action lately. I have been extremely busy with my job. I am currently working as a Drill Sergeant, I know!! Crazy! No one can picture me doing this job, but that is what I am doing. The good news is that my crazy busy days are just about over with, and I can finally get some sleep! 😉 This is an exciting month for me!!! It is the month I take off my Drill Hat, and I can go back to being a regular Soldier! Enough about my job. It is a boring topic.

Wine Berry Colors for Fall

One of my favorite trends this fall season is Wine Berry colors paired with yellow or gold!

These colors look sensational together! I love this look; it is completely retro. I am obsessed with the heels that I am wearing, and they are too perfect! These heels are comfortably low and perfect for me to walk in all day. The best part is that they are not expensive at all. My heels are from Payless. This dress is from one of my favorite retro stores called ModCloth. I bought this floppy hat over the Summer at Versona.

Let’s talk about why I love this color that is trending. The wine berry color is a deep fusion of reds, rich purples, and vibrant burgundies. This trend for fall brings warmth to the season. It offers versatile options for your wardrobe. Also, the color is so romantic. I adore this color.

At the San Antonio Zoo + Houndstooth Coat

It is getting cold!! I took my son to the San Antonio Zoo this weekend and I needed my coat! Lucky for me It wasn’t too cold to wear a dress.

My Houndstooth Coat

I treat coats just like outfits, you can’t have too many! I have coats in all kinds of lengths and styles and on cold days out, my coat becomes the outfit or it will complete the outfit. Since I was wearing a dress this coat was perfect to complete my look. I bought this coat from Versona about a month ago and I love how my dress peaks through it. Of course, I have Mr. Owl with me, everyone loves him! I get so many compliments <3

The San Antonio Zoo

I grew up here, so I’ve visited this zoo multiple times. Now, it’s my turn to take my son. Unfortunately, he lives with my mother while I work in Oklahoma for the Army. Since I am 6 hours away, I come to visit him a lot. He enjoys seeing all the animals. I have always liked this area; there are so many parks and attractions nearby. If you are in San Antonio, you must see this area and check out the San Antonio Zoo. My sister came along, and I got her to snap a few photos of my outfit.

I adore them! Especially Mr. Owl! I noticed that Kate Spade has so many cute bags out this season, and I recommend you grab a fun one just like mine. This is my first Kate Spade bag ever! Happy Veterans Day!

I’m loving these thigh high boots but before I give you the details, lets get into this week! I have been using all my down-time creating for this blog. This is fun creative outlet. Fall is my favorite time of year and there are so many cute trends out for the season. I am alone in Lawton, Oklahoma so I have to take all my photos by myself. It is a challenge but not impossible.

Today’s outfit of the day is Red Dress Boutique-inspired! I am wearing a high/low stripe dress along with the sexiest boots I have ever seen! These sexy thigh high boots are becoming a staple for fall of 2015. This is a perfect look for the fall. My accessories are from Versona and my Kate Spade purse! I love the Wine Berry color for this Fall season, it looks great on everyone.

About the Blog

This isn’t My first blog post as a blogger, but it is my first blog post on my new website! I started blogging earlier in the year, and I love it. So, I bought a domain, and we will see where it goes from here. There is so much to learn! I am getting spun up on how to use this platform and how I can design it. Vintage Outfit For Summer 2015

Hello Friends!!

I absolutely love this vintage outfit with a 70s chic look. Today, I am excited to share with you my outfit of the day, OOTD! I find a lot of inexpensive stuff at Target. Target is my go-to place to shop in Lawton, OK. I am all about saving money when it comes to buying trendy stuff because fads change constantly. Trends come and go seasonally or sometimes annually.

Vintage Outfit 70s Trend

Right now, a vintage outfit is trendy, and these pants inspired me. I really love the pattern. They are Xhilaration brand from Target. The shoes are Merona, and the Hat is Mossimo, which I got on sale. Most items are from Target. The only thing that isn’t from Target is this adorable top I am wearing, and it is from American Eagle. The top is embellished with some gold sequins. I am obsessed with sequins!

Target has the cutest trends, and I absolutely love shopping for clothes there. They have really stepped up their game with fashion. I love to go there because it is a nice escape from this small town.
