Spring is the start of the wedding season but with summer in full swing, what can we wear to a summer wedding?

My favorite part about going to a wedding is getting all dressed up and seeing everyone’s fashion ideas.  Of course, who doesn’t love celebrating love and dancing the night away with your loved ones but, getting dolled up is by far my favorite part.  I have a huge family and now that I am in Texas, I can finally make it to all the celebrations. My little cousin got married! I am so happy for her and the invite. They booked a the cutest venue out by San Marcos, TX. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony with a indoor reception.     

Summer Dresses   

Florals are not just a thing for spring this year.  I am finding them trending for summer too.  I linked and put together a few of my favorite dresses and ideas on how to style them. The dress I am wearing is from Nordstrom but I don’t its in stock anymore.  I hope these collages bring you inspiration when you have to put together an outfit for a summer wedding or any kind of special occasion.

Nsale 2021 Details

Ya’ll!  

I am excited because the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is almost here!!  July 6 starts the preview. Do you plan on shopping the Nsale? I understand the sale is not for everybody.
I’ve been shopping this sale every year since 2018, and there are a few things I have learned. Look for all my tips in the preview post. Here’s the first tip: During the preview, you will want to start a Wish List for this sale.

Nsale Tips

I have waited all year for this event. It is my favorite sale of the year! I love the fall trends introduced, and it leaves me so inspired.

Here is what we know about the sale for 2021:

There are three Tiers to Early Access and you can be a part of it if you apply for the Nordstrom credit card.  Here are the dates for Early Access:   

July 12th: Icon Members

14th: Ambassador Members

16th: Influencer Members 

All online shopping will start at 3 am Eastern Time.  

If you don’t want the store credit card.  I totally get it, the Public Access starts July 28th at 3 am ET, and the sale will end Aug 8th.  Trust me, you do not want to wait for Public Access!  All the good stuff will be gone.

 You can apply for the Nordstrom credit card here and use the card for a same-day $60 bonus note.  

No, I am not getting commission for pushing Nordstrom credit cards or anything.  I do know the struggles of wanting to shop the Nsale and everything being wiped out by the time the sale reaches Public Access.

This sale is not just about women’s fashion and clothes.  You can find beauty products, home décor, stuff for your kids, and the whole family.  Men’s attire is part of it too.    

This sale is the best time to grab fall basics.  Stay tuned because I will link all my picks and everything on my Wish List during the preview.

Amazon Prime Day Deals Summer 2021

 Hello Friends!  

Today, when I woke up I had no idea that it was Amazon Prime Day!!  I ordered a few things from the sale and I want to share.  I believe this sale is worth shopping for.  There are plenty of things I will buy from Amazon.  I listed all my favorite items that are part of the Prime Day deals.     

Bathing suits, 

They are so trendy; people always want to buy new ones every year.  I am 100% all about affordable swimsuits and Amazon has the cutest trends at the best prices.  I put together a couple of collages of the cutest swimwear I currently see online.  All are part of the Prime Day deals.  Also, I added beach gear to my list of picks because I know how expensive getting all the things you need for a beach day can be.  I love the backpack cooler, and those beach chairs are so nifty.    

These Halluci plush fleece house shoes are so comfy and one of my favorite purchases from Amazon.  I highly recommend them.     

These Beakey 5 piece set beauty blenders are the perfect dupe to the real thing and they are far better for your pocket.  I only use these!

My husband got me this Furbo for Christmas and I love checking on my dogs while I am gone.  The only thing, my big dog is afraid of the noise it makes when treats shoot out of the Furbo.  My little one is not interested in any of the treats.  She is very picky.  Today, it is part of the Amazon Prime Day deals.  

Lastly, I got a SodaStream for my husband for Christmas. He loves it.  He needs so much flavoring and it can get expensive because he drinks a lot of diet coke.  For me, I don’t need the flavoring.  I like to add filtered water, carbonate it, and squeeze lime or fruit into my drinks.  I like regular sparkling water, so I get more use out of it than my husband.

 Hello Friends!  

Today I am sharing a restaurant located in the Historic part of Georgetown Texas, and my experience with it.  This is a hidden gem tucked away in this small town.  The first time I saw this restaurant, I was immediately taken by the aesthetics.  It’s a quaint little restaurant mixed with some modern designs.  This restaurant gives off 1960s vibes in modern times. As you can see, this place is 100% instagrammable. 

About Georgetown Texas      

This little town is filled with restaurants, shopping, and history. Known for its history, charm, community, and scenic beauty, Georgetown has become a popular destination for tourists, and I feel lucky to live in it. Because of the military, we are only here temporarily, but I am soaking in every minute of it. The historic part of the town dates back to the 19th century. The well-preserved Victorian architecture is now part of Georgetown’s antique shops, art galleries, restaurants, and charming boutiques.

The Golden Rule

I haven’t tried much of their menu yet, but I will!!  They feature a long list of wines and featured cocktails, a daytime menu, and an evening menu.  I want to try Sunday Brunch there.  You can check out their website right here:  https://www.goldenrulegtx.com

Brunch:

Sunday at 11am

Lunch: Thursday-Sunday 11am-4pm

Dinner:

Tuesday-Thursday 4pm-10pm

Friday & Saturday 4pm-11pm

Sunday 2pm-8pm

I’m continuing my adventure in Podcasting.  I haven’t blogged about any of my episodes in a while because I am still improving my podcast platform. 

You see, I started this podcast with the intention of having fun conversations with my best friend Jen.  She is back in the single-game and her stories are too funny.  I originally wanted to branch out to podcasting for the year 2021 and introduce all of my fashion adventures into it.  Brining Jen into the mix would beef up the content and I seriously thought she was totally on board.  A dating/fashion podcast would be interesting to so many women out there.  Long story short, I had to re-think the content and change things up.  I still love Jen, and I get that some people want to be more private with their lives.     

So here we are, podcast journey Take 2!  I revised the topics that are more relatable to me and my fashion blogging/ Instagram struggles.

Back in 2018 & 2019, I found a few podcasts that introduce you to the blogging world.  They provided tips, ideas, stories on the struggle, and a lot of inspiration.  Some of these girls fell off the grid in podcasting and I got the idea to share my own experience.  Providing insight from a microblogger standpoint would be different and hopefully helpful to others. 

In this episode: 

I talk about my blogger journey to becoming affiliated with Rewardstyle.  It was not an easy process for me back in 2015-2017.  I receive more than one rejection letter and I kept going back to my drawing board to rethink my plan for success.  There were multiple things I had to focus on that Rewardstyle took into consideration when they review your application.  It was a learning process and a reflection of the hard work you actually have to put into your blogger in order to become successful.

Today, I put together Mother’s Day custom gifts ideas that are all from Target.  This way you can get your Target fix and shop for your mother at the same time.  

If you are a mother yourself, your grandma, mother-in-law, or sister, these gift ideas are applicable!  

I got my Mom the tie-dye maxi dress and black sandals and she loved them.  I also got her the wine tumbler . She loves using it for coffee.  Who doesn’t love a cute wine tumbler where you can drink Mushroom coffee by day and wine by night?!!  My Mom does not drink much.

I added some other cute picks like those rain boots!  Perfect for rainy days or gardening. I also love the silky Pajama set.  

I already saw my Mom for Mother’s Day last weekend because I took time off from work.  It will be harder for me to go down this weekend.  What are your plans?  I may ask my hubby to take me strawberry picking this year.
