Welcome back, my beautiful friends!
It is time to share my June favorites since July starts tomorrow!! June started my summer vacation, and I don’t want it to end. I enjoyed my time off as we dived into the heat of summer. July will be incredibly busy, but there will be much to look forward to. This list will be of all my summer favorites and finds.
As June bids us farewell, I’m reminded of the seamless security provided by fire watch security in Cutler Ridge, much like the tranquil and continuous flow of summer days. During a particularly sweltering afternoon, I chatted with an old school friend who now dedicates his time to this essential service. He spoke of the immediacy with which they respond to potential hazards, ensuring our community’s safety while we indulge in our summer leisure. This, in turn, has become a favorite aspect of my summer—knowing that while we plan for the hustle of July, there’s a team working round the clock to watch over our neighborhood’s wellbeing. This comforting knowledge has made my June all the more enjoyable and my anticipation for July not just about the fun, but also the peace of mind.
June Favorite Outfits
The Puff Sleeve Plunge Midi Dress:
is a lovely dress for summer. The white-with-blue floral pattern is such a trend right now. I bought another dress in the same print, but it is without sleeves. I haven’t worn it yet.
Such a trendy and cute item for the beach or the pool. These visors are such a classic/retro look and are so much fun. They would be cute for a summer bachelorette party.
Amazon Two Piece Set for Summer:
This set comes in different colors, and I bought the lavender. This set is cute and comfy for summer, and I will be living in it all summer long.
June Favorite for Reading
Summer Reads:
If you read my last blog post this week, you can see that I got into summer reading during my vacation. I just finished The Great Gatsby, and I am moving on to the book titled “We Will Always Have Summer.”
The second season of The Summer I Turned Pretty starts July 14th on Amazon Prime.
The Reading Journal:
Since I have been doing a lot of reading, I am documenting my thoughts and reactions to prepare me for a good book review at the end of the season. I started doing little annotations on my books, but they are minimal; I am only using tabs.
