Goodbye Twenty Twenty! Hello 2021

 Hello my beautiful friends I am back on the blog! 

 I know everyone is ready to say Goodbye to Twenty Twenty & Hello to 2021! It has been about 2.5 years since I last blog on here. Wow, so much has changed.  I did blog a little on this account- https://thedressydose.blogspot.com it is a free platform.  I do recommend Google’s Blogger (Blogspot) if you are just starting and you want to explore the idea of blogging.    

My Break From Blogging

I took a long break from blogging for a few reasons; they were listed on my About Me Page.   I am posting them down below:  

1. I wasn’t making enough money in blogging to support the cost of this page.
2. I get more traffic on Instagram @cutebrandik and most of my followers prefer IG stories vs. reading blogs
3. Blogspot is super easy for me to use with my rewardStyle links!  I can continue posting content with zero complications

@cutebrandik is not a thing on Instagram no more.  Over the summer, my account got hacked and deleted without a trace and there is no getting it back.  I’ve tried! To be honest, Instagram was no help either.  My new IG account is @Brandi_Kimberly and I am starting all over.  I was able to find some of my fashion friends to reconnect with.  If you follow me and want a follow back, please send me a Direct Message!  

Goodbye Twenty Twenty

Everyone on earth is aware of the chaos that occurred this year.  Most of us have been ready for 2020 to be over with since April.  Our world has changed due to the pandemic and I don’t think there are many places left in the world where you don’t see face masks.  It has been very depressing.  Every major event for me this year was watered down, but more on that later.  

The aftermath of 2020 has led me back to this space.  It is where I hope to bring lighthearted fun, positivity, and inspiration.  

I have always been fascinated with 1920’s fashion.  I was super excited for 2020 in the beginning.  Last year, my hubby and I went to a speakeasy party to ring in the New Year.  I would like to try to keep this fashion idea going for the rest of the decade.  I will be in my 40’s this decade…. The last three pictures are of NYE outfits from 2020, 2019, and 2018.  It is so much fun to see the evolution.      

Hello 2021 

Tomorrow, we say goodbye to 2020 & It is my 6^th anniversary with my husband.  We always try to make this day special for both of us.  What plans do you have for NYE?  What plans do you have for 2021?
