I am officially forty!!! I have come a long way since the age of 30. In 2012, My 30th birthday was spent in Afghanistan, Maz-E-Sharif. I was with my husband; back then, he was my boyfriend. We were getting ready to head back to the United States for some vacation time. I also introduced my boyfriend to my family for the second time.
Blogging Origin
We celebrated my birthday at the Cheesecake Factory, and Mark gave me my first DSLR camera. He knew how much I loved to take pictures. It was one of the best gifts ever.
The DSLR camera was the start of my blogging journey. I thought about starting a blog in 2012, but I wasn’t sure what I wanted to blog about. I thought about sharing outfits; however, I was in a deployed environment where all I wore was a uniform. Later, I started my blog in 2015.
I have learned a lot about myself in this past decade. I thought it would be fun to share what I learned in a blog post for the month of July!
