Hello Friends!!
I am collaborating with my Blogger Friend Ada from Elegance and Mommyhood. I’ve known her for quite a while through Instagram. Today we are both sharing looks wearing winter hats and booties. They are staples that will keep you warm and cozy.
Meet Ada
Hi, my name is Ada and I blog at Elegance and Mommyhood, a blog about my style, motherhood, everyday life and some of my poetry and creative writing. I am a busy mother to two beautiful little girls,
one of which is a new baby. I am so glad I got to meet Brandi through Instagram and that she will get to be my co-host today and the next several weeks in a row for my Thursday style linkup “Thursday Moda”.
I invite you all to join it with your latest posts, it’s a great way to meet new bloggers and get new readers too. You can also find me on Insragram @adafurxhi where I post a lot more often and you can find different content than on my blog, as well as lots of everyday life+style snippets of my life through my Insta stories. Nice to meet you all and please welcome by my blog.
Everything you need to know about Winter outfits In Texas
Here is my winter outfit inspired for 2022! Texas winters are usually warmer than most places in the US. I live for warmer weather and it was a perk to living in Texas. January and February are usually colder months. Last year was the coldest Texas winter I’ve ever experienced. This winter is starting a bit colder than usual too but not as bad as last year.
Sharing Winter Hats and Booties
Recently, I bought this polar bear sweater on sale from Loft- one of my favorite places to shop!! I am pairing this oversized sweater with some leggings to keep me warm on this cooler day. I paired this outfit with some booties. This makes an adorable winter look. This red beret adds to this look and it is very trendy. Wearing hats and booties during this fall/winter is all you need in Texas.
What you need to know
Texas winters are indecisive filled with warmer days mixed and colder days. In the next three months, you should have a coat or two on hand. Sweaters and leggings are a go-to for most days. You can wear a light cardigan for days when it is in the 50 or 60s. Also, keep a few cute skirts and nylons in your closet because Texas will allow you to wear them without feeling like your legs will freeze. I am linking outfits that are a good go-to during a Texas winter down below.
Thank you for reading this collaboration and loved the products I shared that will help you look cute during a Texas winter. I enjoyed collaborating with Ada for this blog post! She inspired me to get back into my blogging. Although the popular choice is Instagram, here is an importance to maintaining your own space outside of social media. Check out Ada’s blog- (Elegance and Mommyhood) and follow her on Instagram- (@adafurxhi) for more affordable fashion & Mommy lifestyle inspiration.
If you have any more questions please reach out. Where do you currently live and how cold does it get over there? Share a look where you are rocking hats and booties too! Comment down below! You can also DM me on my IG @pass.the.prosecco.blog.
Cheers!

Super cute outfit and I love a good oversized sweater. Leggings truly are the perfect pairing! Texas sounds lovely and polar opposite of our location where its very cold and winter hangs on for about 5 months. My in-laws escape to Texas, close to the edge by the Mexican border , to enjoy the milder weather.

Brandi, this is such an adorable outfit! I love polar bears so I am dying over this cute sweater! Texas weather is a far cry from my northern NY weather, it seems. We have had day after day of negative temperatures dipping as low as -30 this winter. I need an actual polar bear to keep me warm!

Came over from Ada’s blog! I love your style! I was just thinking I need to add a beret to my hats (I have a mustard one so I may go for a neutral) but loving the red! Cute sweater! This is my favorite way to wear leggings, with an oversized sweater.
